Lauren Green

Owner and Executive Director, Client Engagement Lead, Lead Facilitator and Trainer

Lauren Green (she/her) is the owner and executive director of MeetingMakers, a close-knit team of experienced facilitators, trainers and meeting coaches who partner with clients to facilitate meetings with tangible outcomes and lasting impact. She believes facilitation should be a core competency for all professionals and is on a mission to make this a reality. She is recognized for her high energy and ability to fuel creativity and drive productivity in meetings while also helping groups recognize and scale their collaboration strengths. 

Lauren earned a master’s degree in Organization Development and Knowledge Management from George Mason University, where she now teaches facilitation as an adjunct professor. Lauren is an International Coach Federation certified coach and an MBTI® and EQi (emotional intelligence) Practitioner. She is a certified LUMA Instructor specializing in teaching design thinking workshops. Lauren is the host of the podcast This Meeting Sucks, on a mission to un-suck meetings and bring meeting skills to the masses, one episode at a time.

Caitlin Murray

Marketing Manager

  • Caitlin Murray (she/her, they/them) is the client engagement coordinator and marketing manager for MeetingMakers and Dancing with Markers. Caitlin specializes in visual design, video editing, and writing and approaches work with attention to detail, aesthetic balance, and a holistic focus. Caitlin graduated with honors from George Mason University’s Department of Communication and has experience in public relations, environmental advocacy and career development. She is recognized for her work in digital courses and website development. Caitlin is also a Jazz teacher at the Russell School of Ballet, the Director of Tap and Jazz at The Center for Ballet Arts in Fairfax, VA, and a member of the Motion X Dance Company and Kaleid Dance Company.

Kim Tzekos

Executive and Marketing Assistant

  • Kim Tzekos (she/her) is the executive and marketing assistant for MeetingMakers and Dancing with Markers. Kim supports the executive director with daily administrative tasks and schedule management and the marketing team in content development and online community engagement. Kim has a bachelor's degree in animal science and over ten years of experience as an educator, including teaching at the National Aquarium in Baltimore and Disney's Animal Kingdom. She is passionate about conservation, environment advocacy and empowering students and her team. 

Thria Devlin

Client Engagement Coordinator

  • Thria Devlin (she/her) is the client engagement coordinator for Dancing with Markers and MeetingMakers. Thria specializes in program and community operations, with nearly 10 years of managing people, processes, and operations. Thria graduated with honors from Point Park University's School of Communications and has experience managing facilitation services of up to seven figures in revenue. In her free time, Thria loves attending concerts, watching movies, and trying new restaurants with her partner in Pittsburgh, PA.

Gina Weatherup

Associate Facilitator and Trainer, Certified Mediator

Gina Weatherup (she/her, they/them) is the founder and CEO of Chantilly Mediation and Facilitation. She’s on a mission to help leaders build happier workspaces. As a certified mediator in Virginia, Gina has a deep understanding of the role conflict plays in interrupting work happiness and goal achievement. Gina is a certified virtual facilitator and EQ-i 2.0 practitioner. She holds a master’s degree in Women’s and Gender Studies from George Washington University. She is recognized for her empathy and her skill at reframing and mediation.

Thrine Kane

Associate Facilitator

Thrine (TREE-nuh) Kane (she/her) is a senior visual facilitator with a background in change management, human-centered design, leadership instruction and executive coaching. She has extensive experience designing strategy and vision, improving processes, and action planning. With over seventeen years of U.S. Government service in the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense, she has supported multiple organizations in intelligence and security, corporate development, policy, and transportation and infrastructure. Thrine provides her clients with an experience and environment where all participants feel heard and valued and walk away feeling more empowered than they arrived.

Trent Wakenight

Associate Facilitator and Trainer

Trent Wakenight (he/him) is the founder of Marker Ninja and a go-to for team-building, strategy development, design thinking, concept visualization and graphics. He is recognized for using graphic facilitation to guide vision and strategy formation, team development, change management and strategic communication for large private sector firms, non-profits and government agencies. Trent is an IAF Certified Professional Facilitator and holds a master’s degree in public relations from Michigan State University. He enjoys finding solutions in efficient and memorable ways using a blend of traditional facilitation and proven visual methods.
